Grit Effect Type

Top  Previous  Next

The Grit effect type can give a wood texture a gritty or streaky appearance.

When active, this effect type will make the following properties available:

Grit Density

Changes the density of the grit that is added to your texture.  Higher values result in a finer grit.

Low values of this property result in an even grit, while higher values cause the grit to streak vertically.

Color 1

The first of the two colors forming the grit.

Color 2

The second of the two colors forming the grit.

Remember that the overall strength of this, as well as any other effect type, can be modified with the Effect Amount property at the very top of the Shade Effect box.
