Color Section

The Color section, which appears for multiple layer types of the Texture Synthesis dialog, modifies the colors of the current layer.  Note that in cases where you don't need control over the colors of an individual layer, it may be more efficient to directly modify the final texture colors through the Master Controls box.

Description

Colorize

Stains the layer with the specified color, with darker colors having a greater effect, and white having no effect at all.

Brightness

Adjusts the brightness of the layer.

Contrast

Modifies the contrast of the layer.

Hue

Adjusts the hue of the layer.

Saturation

Modifies the saturation of the layer.

Jitter Brightness

This property is only available for the Patches and Repeating Pattern layer types.  It can be used to randomize the color of each patch.

Jitter Hue

This property is only available for the Patches and Repeating Pattern layer types.  It can be used to randomize the hue of each patch.

 

 

The Color section of the Solid Color layer type has only a single property, called Color, that directly defines the layer's color.
