Overview

 

Creates a UV texture for its input model by projecting a texture onto it from various directions. This is the node to use if you want to synthesize a seamless texture for the entire surface of a model.

Description

Model

The model for which the texture will be created.

Texture

The texture to be projected onto the surface of the model.

 

 

 

Properties

 

 

Property

Description

Size

Defines the size of the projection. Increasing values will make the texture details larger along that axis.

Location

Specifies the position of the projection. Changing values will slide the texture around the model.

Orientation

Controls the orientation of the project. Changing values will rotate the texture on the model.

Sides

Sets the number of projections used to create the texture.

Feather

Specifies the width of the blended area between projections.

Tile

If the model is larger than the texture projection, this property specifies whether the projection is tiled to cover the model's entire surface.

Output

Sets the type of output produced:

 

UV Map

A UV texture is produced that can be applied to the model in a 3D application.

Textured Model

The input model is passed through the node, but with the new UV texture applied to it.
